Tell him that jeep is way better and please get out of line for the people that know they want a bronco. I get that some people are fed up with Ford, but the reality is no one would be looking for 2 years or waiting on a reservation for 2 years if they really thought a jeep would make them just as happy from the beginning.

To each their own! I'd take that over any Bronco any day (even though I own a Bronco too), but only because it's a 392. After driving the Bronco a bit, I'd pick it over a regular JLU probably.

Not the pepto bismol one though. Ugly color on my least favorite Jeep body style. You couldn't pay me to take that.

Sorry didn't mean to post a blank. To explain I am in my mid 20s this is a ton of money for a vehicle and my first big purchase I want to be sure it's worth it so I wanted to see if people who bought a bronco thought it was worth the price they paid.

If you want some advice, wait another 6-9 months to buy if you can. Things are dumping fast and you are going to see a lot of people walking away from buying new vehicles.

I was looking at the Jeep last year before I found that the Bronco even existed (which I have now). There aren't really discounts on the Jeep. It's only discounted to MSRP if you order from the factory just like any Ford today.

You can get good discounts, but you have to go with one of the high volume dealers and use their forum member deals.

That's what I would say as well. I bought my Bronco and paid a bit more than I may have normally, but I needed a winter DD. It would have been a bigger waste of money to buy something for the winter that I didn't really want and then sell it this year sometime for a Bronco.

I did follow the market for a few months, and things are steadily coming down. If you can, just sit tight.

I'd say those numbers are still a resounding success and probably beat Ford's projections when they decided to bring back the Bronco.

Tricky, I agree with you. Ford is doing the best it can to launch a vehicle that was highly anticipated and constrained at the same time.

TO the OP. If you want a Jeep buy a Jeep. But ask yourself, why haven't you bought one already? I did this exact same exercise as you.

For giggles I spec'd jeeps and couldn't match our bronco's setup at any price.

Back late last summer before I got my build date, I seriously was thinking of abandoning my Bronco order......day 3 reservation and all that. At that time, I looked at getting a Jeep Rubicon that I tried to price with as close to the same build as I could to my loaded Bronco SAS Badlands. NOT EVEN CLOSE!! My expensive, loaded Bronco was about $60K and the equivalent Rubicon was coming in at $82. Even if dealers start charging consist ADMs moving forward in that $10K to $15K range, Bronco is still likely cheaper. Two caveats to that are 1) who knows how the latest news on the evil constraints will pan out and last and 2) not sure all model / trim lineups would compare like my BL build did.

When I was looking to replace my TJ in early 2020, a 2 door Rubicon hard top was approx. $50-54K. The Gladiator Rubicon was $57-60K. My 2 door Wildtrak, high package, tow, roof bars and mod bumper was $51555 plus T,T and T. Luckily, no dealer mark up and honored price protection...but that took some pushback from me and documents sharing FoMoCo would recommend honoring that.

Now, my build is $57205 on the Ford build and price and a pretty close 2 door Rubicon is $58245.00 per the Jeep build and price. Trying to compare just MSRP's to get an apple's to apple's view rather than lot stock, incentives and potential dealer mark ups.

You better have tough skin based on the comments, a lot of folks have HORROR STORIES and not much sympathy with your personal dilemma. To jump ship, change build or stay the course...that is the question for most current orders...especially Wildtrak orders.

EDIT = BTW, rented a Gladiator sport prior to reserving the Wildtrak. Prefer the ride quality in the Bronco and I have way more leg room and more comfortable in the 2 door Wildtrak. Speaking as a 6'2" individual and most folks would politely call me husky as I have ate my fair share of meat and potatoes.

Same I found. Ordered mine 12.21 @$51,655. In 04.22, wife entertained a pink 2-door Rubi, but when it came in with almost the same options (ones we weren't going to skip) as our ordered Bronco, sticker was north of $56k. To be exact as possible, i believe it topped $58k.
