Just did my weekly Build and Pricing on the Jeep to keep things in check and found a new item available for the 2021 models - Front trail camera.
It will cost a lot tho because it requires the upgraded screen to get... about $3000 difference.

I cannot see FCA making enough ground to catch the Bronco this year or next. I LOVE THE COMPETITION!! We all win.

It was available as a late addition for the 2020 model year on the build sheets.

I noticed the 8" is standard now, at least on the JLU

My build went up since the last time I built....$58k+

If FCA pulls through with a V8 then they win me over. Big “if” though.

I went to the jeep building price tool as well. Just to see what I could build versus expected price of bronco.

There were so many options I would click on that would jump the total price up 3000, 4000 or $5000.

It really makes me glad Ford is offering the 2.7 and Sasquatch on every trim level

I think that really hurts jeep

I'm only interested in a V8 if it comes with the 2dr and I can row my own gears

Here is the same build BEFORE the update and not including the tech required for the trail camera.

So, yeah, I have been keeping an eye on the prices for a while. I was close to buying a Jeep. Thanks Ford for coming in at the right time to save me from this mistake.

Yeah, from the launch of the Gladiator. Jeep Wranglers did not have them available until now. This is a very recent addition (not unexpected) to the build and pricing.

Can you get a winch with the camera? The answer from the Ford rep in Colorado yesterday in one of the posts mentioned adding a winch did not work with a camera or he was unsure.

I’m sure someone will quickly design an aftermarket camera relocation bracket.

Jeep just shot themselves in the foot.

You can no longer get remote start with the Pentastar V6. You must choose the lame I4, or the eTorque V6. Just last week, the eTorque engine was not available, now it's what you must get if you want 'extras' on the Wrangler.

Seems pretty firm that my budget for the Bronco just went up by $3500 based on the competition's shenanigans... More toys for me!

I may be confused here, but I thought the Bronco cameras were at all four corners so you can see where each tire is. Maybe the winch won't block the camera(s) at all.

The front camera is between the "O" and "N" on the grille. Due to the Bronco's winch mounting solution, it looks like the camera will be blocked.

Bummer. Hopefully the aftermarket comes up with a solution.
