State Farm, I'd like to report someone stole my Jeep and rolled it.

But seriously, so much to learn to be safe offroad, glad the driver is okay.
Gonna be needing this:

I know this will sound judge-y, but I caught one glimpse of that paint job and immediately knew that jeep was driven by a friggin moron. Dude would be better served by hard parking back in the trailhead parking lot
More money than brains, I think is the term. I noticed there was zero rubber on that line he picked 🤔

I was out in that area last week running trails and stopped to watch for a bit. That little climb is no joke. This area usually draws a small crowd to watch the vehicles going up.

It's such a beautiful area out there. I took these photos while on my run.

To me, it looked like he was already past the point of no return and freewheeling backwards was no longer an option. Personally I think the real reason was.........

I have been witness to a few ,and been in a few what will suprise you is how fast it happens and how helpless you feel and how your mind races to do the right thing to save your rig then the uh oh hold on this is going to suck the last pary is seeing hundred dollar bills with wings flying away like birds.
Be careful out there.

Do you think the larger tires here did not help? It looks like the Jeep bounced on the larger tire and the high COG helped it flip faster. Sure with a shorter tire, you would scrape more - but at this point, that Jeep will not be scraping anything for a while.

Was more the fact that he climbed the hill at an angle rather than straight on. He had the clearance to climb straight on, where the higher CG wouldn’t have been as much of a factor.

He was way off the normal line. Not sure if he was looking for more challenge or less. He was using too much skinny pedal. You could see the tires hopping. But, overall the only thing I can see that was really a contributing factor is he didn't have a spotter. Anybody standing at the top should have been able to tell him that we he was at an unsafe angle to be bouncing like that.
