Hey all,

Long time lurker, first time poster here. Since I finally joined the Bronco nation on the 16th, I figured it was time to make an appearance! It's a 2023 OBX moardoor, which for the time being, I'm calling "Dark Horse". It has the High package, Navy Pier leather, 2.3 and soft top. So far I've been enjoying it, and so far my pup seems to be enjoying it! I've had a soft spot for the Bronco since a friend of mine had a couple in high school that I helped him work on, and have just wanted one since.

This thread will serve to document any potential mods, added accessories, or adventures and things that happen with the Bronco. So buckle up, and stay tuned!

-Jimbob

I needed to secure my fire extinguisher, so I designed and 3d printed this bracket that mounts to the roll bar. Since there's nuts welded to the roll bar, I took advantage of them. We'll see how it hold up long term

Edit: it turned out to be a bad place to mount it once I tried folding the top back for the first time

Post 1,000mi break in update: so far the bronco has held up pretty well, aside from a minor camera glitch early on. Been a mix of highway and city driving. Now that we've been getting warmer weather in SC, I've been folding the top back some. I think Chester enjoys it as much as I do!

I didn't realize that Shadow Black has blue specks in it until I was washing the bronco yesterday...more reason to love the color! (Zoom in on the door handle)

So it's been a while, and I'm now at around 2,500 miles on the clock. Happy to report that nothing major or catastrophic has happened (granted she hasn't been off road much). Only issue I've had is it seems that the computer doesn't like me trying to shift into neutral while the brake is trying to engage (or something like that). Whatever the case, it threw the "Parking brake fault" message. Shifting back into whatever gear I was in and clearing the fault, then trying again seems to make it happy. No issues like that for a while. The bronco has proven to be a wonderful road trip vehicle, aside from the lack of ventilation in the back seats

One of my observations is that ASS seems to hurt fuel economy some in city traffic. So I either turn it off or go to sport mode since it disables ASS by default. My only gripes are that the interior lighting could be better, and the way the steering wheel column trim is designed makes it a little awkward to get in and out without hitting my knee against it sometimes. Other than that, still enjoying it!

I thought I attached one in the original post, but apparently not. I have a picture of mainly the seats that I'll attach
