Okay, so here is what I was looking for.

First, the TLDR. It is possible to get almost completely flat audio signal from the 2022 base factory unit with ONLY using Forscan. This is great news, you won't hear a ton of difference in factory speakers, but this is the way to get flat audio to feed an amp or system of your choice.

My Forscan changes, 727-01-01 to 3800 and 727-01-02 to 0900

First, all 4 channels showing flat (or as close as you'll get) out of the system with only a FORSCAN change

Front channel showing essentially flat output, minus an odd peak then dip above 16K

And what everyone is searching for (maybe can help the B&O guys too, but no promises) unmolested rear channel output

After doing this forscan change and installing 4 4inch speakers would you recommend throwing in bass blockers at the 300hz range to all 4? Just the front 2? None? 600? Thanks! Still trying to figure this stuff out and help is always, well, helpfulā€¦

OEM or aftermarket? OEM already had them integrated into the base 4ā€ speakers.

I did the Forscan update last night. I updated the 4" speakers at the corners. Once I got to a good source, Spodify stream, WOW....This really made a difference. So much, I am now going to add a sub in the back. I am running the non-B/O system.

Hiyas and thanks for this!

I've done the first line (727-01-01 to 3800), but what does changing the 2nd line do (727-01-02 to 0900)?

I've also seen posts where someone changed the first line to 3801 vs. 3800. I'm trying to understand what does what as to me, it's a mystery. šŸ˜µ

As far as I've surmised from the multitude of posts on here. '21 trucks can unlock the flat eq and full range to all speakers with just the first line change. '22 trucks need the 2nd line change also. This is all speculation since I've just been reading and don't actually know. From my own experience I have a '22 and I originally did the first line change only. Then I did the 2nd and swapped in infinity reference 4 inch speakers with 300 bass blockers. So far its better but nowhere near amazing.

Hey follow-up, did you mess with your tone settings in the menus after installation? I'm looking for a good starting point.
Iā€™ve yet to install my amp so I havenā€™t played with the audio settings yet. Just got an OBD interface and will have to borrow a Windows laptop from a neighbor to do the Forscan settings update.

I feel like the tone settings donā€™t have as much impact after the forscan change. Curious if anyone else experienced the same.
