Just Got Rear Ended Today.

I’ve had my Bronco for just over a month and just got rear ended by a Chevy pickup today. Ford 1 - Chevy 0.

From personal inspection, I see no indentation around where the mount connects to the tailgate. Despite how it appears from the video and screenshot, the gaps appear even around the tailgate.

I am going to take it in to Ford to have them do an inspection. Will update everyone here once I get the final inspection.

UPDATE:
After further inspection we found that the spare tire mount popped in and back out of the rear door causing a couple barely visible dents in the door. The collision center took the door apart, took out the dents and repainted the back and it’s good as new. About $700 in damage that was covered by the other insurance company.

That much damage to a Colorado, you're not walking away unscathed. I'd be suspect of that rim, and the tailgate. The body line along the taillight is ... not great ... from that angle picture. Might be better in person, but I'd still have it in a body shop.
