So I took delivery of my 2022 last week and a day later this issue popped up. Found the work around here on the forum, bypassed it by putting the key in the spot in the center console to get it to start. Just dropped it off this morning with the dealership to reprogram it per the TSB but the tech couldn’t find it. I gave him the number and he said that was for the 2021 only but would go ahead and reprogram them anyway. Does anyone know if there is a new TSB for the 2022?

My Rep just called me and said that the techs are on the phone with Ford to see how they go about fixing it. They’re saying the fix for the 2021 doesn’t work for the 2022, which sounds really odd to me but ok. Will keep y’all posted.

Ok they just called again. Said they traced it back to an antenna that was not connected that should have been connected at the factory. They said the issues fixed and ready to be picked up 🤞🏼

I asked but he had no idea. I should have asked him to check with the tech. Let me email him and see if I can get an answer.

Where is the magic spot to place key fob when it's not detected?

My 2021 Bronco Sport – Outer Banks has had the “No Key Detected” ..
....

*Note: the two parts that were replaced were #19D596 (anti-theft flasher) and #15607 (transceiver), as well as, 8 trim clips for the roof access
Doubt parts or even fix are same for a Sport than a full size Bronco. Plus if you have not noticed none of the roofs on Broncos (not Sport) have anything connected to their removable or opening roofs but thanks for your info anyway

My keyfob rarely leaves my pocket so key on front drivers seat would be the spot where it is not detected. But my inteittent warning never affects anything

These concerns are kinda hard to diagnose but the first thing to check is the fob battery to make sure it's above 3.0V. Not close to 3.0, has to be that or above to work correctly. Second thing is if it can be duplicated with the second fob. If so and the batteries are good, it could be transmitters, outside RF interference (does it happen in a specific location like school, grocery store, gas station, mall), intermittent software malfunction, wiring or antennas. I had this happen several times on my '21 but never bothered trying to chase it down.

Center console.

You misunderstood. If the fob is not detected, where can it be placed to be very close to a sensor so you can get home and not be towed?

Example, some cars have a slot to place fob when fob battery is low and signal is weak. What is Bronco solution?
