Believe me, my dog thinks it needs more open top Broncos to ride around in. She’s not fond of my A/C not working in the Tacoma.

Still waiting to get the Badlands suspension parts in for the install. The goal here is not just to get taller, but to get more articulation. There is actually plenty of room with the standard suspension as is, just limited movement.

I plan to get baseline measurements on lift height, stuff, and droop and compare before and after install. They will be static measurements and not completely applicable to real offroad conditions, but it gives me a basis for comparisons.

For $1300 for all four coilovers though, it will be worth it regardless of outcome. I just wish I had found a set of takeoffs even cheaper. There will be some great deals out there for people looking to upgrade their base suspension.

I am doing the same setup, Bronco BD arrived yesterday at the dealer, just waiting for the tires... I got $150 takeoff value for the stock 31.6" General Grabbers. So about $100 a tire to upgrade to a 33.1" tall, 0.4" skinnier tire. I'm glad it looks good in real life!

The 255s won’t be for everyone, but I’ve used them on my Tacoma and a 1st gen Blazer and really like them.

My Badlands coilovers should be here this week, so I’ll upgrade suspension and install Camburg rear trailing arms.
