The No Double Honk Bronco Boys heads out for the Labor Day weekend to Eastern Oregon. This area has been on my bucket list for a while. While we all left at different times we somehow all managed to meet up as needed. For me seeing Alvord Desert was pretty cool. Pushing the Bronco out there was a blast too. I do want to get back and explore the Steens Mountains. The Owhyee area is just stunning but then I was more surprised that the Succor Creek area was just as impressive. You rarely hear about Succor Creek and the canyon is just spectacular. It was a packed four days with a ton of driving. It will take weeks to get all the dust out of the Broncos. But it was worth every minute.

I highly recommend watching this on the biggest screen you can.

Wow, not what I think of when I hear Oregon. I knew they had a dessert, but didn't picture that (I've only been thru the coast side).

Thanks for sharing 🤠

East of the Cascades is all High Desert. About 2/3 of the state.

Was fortunate to be part of this adventure. While the video is amazing, nothing can capture the scenery like we experienced in-person. Also fortunate there isn’t a backlog on new engine and cabin air filters:). It was an unforgettable event, and thank you @swooshdave for memorializing it!

P.S. Scientific observation - wild horses in Oregon only seem to leave their ”droppings” on the trails, and not where they eat.

Shoot, from Sacramento it's a pretty easy drive. Just head up 80 to 95!
Try that and you might find yourself being distracted by the Santa Rosa Mtns. in northern Nevada. Aspen groves, meadows, and streams on the northeast side and a respite from the desert dryness below.

The chance one must take.
