So after taking delivery last night, I noticed the lighting in the interior, specifically the second row, is bleak. This is understandable considering the inability to put lights on a removal top but does anyone have solutions for this? It's not a big problem but having a child in the back at night means I won't be able to see much of what he's up to!

Yeah, understandable. I wonder if some led replacements would help?

Ive had this concern for a bit. Proper lighting is great when camping etc.

The best solution Ive come up with is a kit like this..

https://www.amazon.com/Govee-Dreamcolor-Interior-Upgraded-Lighting/dp/B07XQ2QBJ7

Ford Bronco Lack of Interior Lighting 1634241999082

Ignore the disco vibes.. You can set the color to white or off-white. Since RGB strips are universal (two different standards, 5v and 12v), you can throw some marine grade, sealed light strips in and use this controller to control the lighting. Plus, you know.. disco lighting.

You could also do the easy solution and stick a tap light on the roof over the rear.

Just take the top off, that's why it's removable. Why use lights when you've got the sun, moon, stars, and cigar cherries.

Keep it moving! 😒
If only all you mentioned would provide sufficient light..

Great thought....think they can be wired to work with one of the aux switches? Would that make sense?

I'm not an expert but usually these lighting kits force you to scroll through 10 flavors before getting to the lollipop. So if you managed to get it wired you would be stuck at the first color when turning them without using the app/fob.

Likely very easy. I use Govee lights in other places and their app typically lets you set an auto-on (meaning you can use a toggle switch to activate) and allows you to auto-on to a set color.

Govee is a bit better of a brand. Their other products (non vehicle) will store your last used settings (color, power state). There are better brands out there but the price goes up substantially.

Amazon has a few options for your needs...they even have one that wraps around the roll bar..under portable car interior light..

You should totally get some rigid pod lights and instead of mounting them on the A pillar, insall them in the back seating area. Then use an assessory switch to turn on/off. I promis if lil jhonny acts up, it will only be a few times. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Why not use some of the smaller led rock lights and wire to an auction switch.
