Whats suppose to happen when you drift to close to the edge of your lane?
This is my first vehicle with nanny features, I have been told by others (who do not have Broncos) that it alerts them if they are drifting off and pulls the vehicle back, if you try to change lanes with no single it almost fights you a little, you defiantly know its working.
My Everglades will just so gently bounce you back an forth from line to line, the only warning is a very low audible I think, maybe its in the tone that I am def to but I think I hear something, I feel nothing in the steering wheel, no shaking.
Much of the time it will just drift right over the middle line (broken line that allows passing) into oncoming traffic on a 2 lane road.
I placed the settings to aid and alert with normal levels.
Thanks.

Edit: I found this thread and it appears the lane assist in the Broncos kind of sucks. At least compared to what others tell me about there vehicles. I did not purchase it for this feature but would like for this it to have worked better. Makes me wonder if the crash avoidance/auto braking will actually do anything. I hope I never have to find out.
Onward to off road fun, that's why i have this anyway.

As far as I can tell it alerts and vibrates the wheel but I don’t think it course corrects. I could be wrong because I don’t regularly use it but when I did that was my experience.

You probably need to set it up in the options on the main screen. I remember that I had to do that.

Either it wasn't on or the level that it would warn and steer was so low it was hard to tell if it was doing anything.

I have it set to the normal alert/aid. Next drive I can try the high.

Just finished 650 miles in mine this weekend. I haven’t played with the settings but mine drifts me back away from the line. If I switch lanes without turn signals my wheel vibrates and fights me a tiny bit

Yes, I believe that it's just an alert, not active lane keeping.

Definitely not lane centering like my Raptor, but it will correct back towards the center of the road. I disabled the vibration feature, as it always makes me feel I have a wheel out of balance.

Was wondering the same thing after a road trip recently. My research on this revealed it's just an alert and not active correction. Kind of sucks compared to my wife's Honda CRV. I don't plan on relying on this feature for anything as I didn't see it work real well when I activated it without understanding what it was...

Since you've already set the alerts to normal levels, I'd double-check for more customization options. There might be settings to make the system respond better or make the alerts easier to notice.

There's two modes on the Bronco. Alert, and Alert + Aid
Yours might be set to just Alert, check Driver Aids in the touchscreen.
It will not lane-center, but will actively steer you away from lane markings and attempt to straighten back out in the lane.

The Bronco definitely has active correction, with the lane keep assist feature. You have to have assist turned on in the menus, and you have to activate the feature on the steering wheel, which many people don't realize.

Now don't confuse the ancient lane keeping system with modern lane centering, night and day difference, the Bronco will just pin ball you between the lines.

Yeah it’s terrible compared to the true lane centering in BlueCruise.

It’s just a warning system.

The bad thing is that the Bronco Sport has had lane centering for years and it works well.

Thanks everyone, yes turned on from steering wheel, spiced it up to high mode. Had both alert and aid active.
As others pointed out, its not very good. Oh well I had to plans to use it except maybe on a long road trip, was kind of excited to try it out. I will stick to what this does best, off-road fun.
