I had the Lange hoist for my 2 door bronco hard top. I recently purchased a Bronco Raptor…ie 4 door. I made a slight modification to my hoist frame, and now can remove my 4 door hard top. In case you’re curious, the Lange hoist raises the rear clam shell and middle panel as one unit.

Are the two pieces sturdy enough to not separate/break apart/fold in, or did you add any additional bracing to help with that?
Sturdy enough. Literally unbolted the top from the Bronco and raised the two pieces.

In my garage it’s high enough that I park the Bronco Raptor underneath it. Forwards and backwards. I’m able to pull mine up to within 11” of the ceiling.

My garage ceiling is 9', but was hoping to sneak it above the garage door which is just under 31" of space. There are other open areas, but thought this would be the best spot / out of the way if this is enough height.

You may like a trick I use to line the Bronco up perfectly every time on the first try. I put 3 reflectors on the wall and line them up with the rear view camera lines after I have the Bronco in the perfect spot. Now all I do is put the dotted center line on the middle reflector and when the two green lines touch the outside reflectors it is in the right spot every time :)

Great idea with the reflectors.

I’m looking for a solution. I know you traded but curious if your other top showed any signs of wear? Particularly around the hard top slot attachments. So many issues with the factory tops I have little faith in them.

Also, if you have the 4 door, can you lift the back clam shell only if preferred? Asking as I have a support beam that runs across my garage ceiling that provides floor support for my upstairs and afraid that will interfere lifting the back and middle section together.
