Hey guys! So we just went to the Off-Roadeo in Vegas and it was an absolute blast!
This site was about 90% rock crawling and really putting these trucks to the test.
I’ve driven Jeep’s, as a family we have had multiple SUVs, side by sides, and UTVs so we’ve had our fair share of experiences. My dad was in the Navy for multiple years and has gone through multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan with Humvees in the desert and mountains.
These trucks are awesome and have completely blown away our expectations.
We picked a 4-door Badlands w/Sasquatch and the soft top. The rest of the confit was base.
Ill be damned that this thing glided over the rocks like I was still driving on a paved road. Multiple times when our vehicle had two tires off the ground, the front bar disconnect leveled the vehicle out automatically and you could barely tell. These trucks are seriously amazing.
Ford put a hell of a lot of time and money into the venue and the experience. Catered food, multiple snacks, local history and really going in depth about the trucks, the mechanics and the various functions and applications.
we went through some basic trails before we got onto some pretty wild and hard obstacles and the Bronco tore through it like it was no big deal.
Ive been on the fence about waiting for my Wildtrak or getting a Jeep or something else but after the Off-Roadeo this definitely a vehicle I’m getting regardless of the wait.
The dash does have the textured plastics feel, however it’s not as bad as people describe in videos. It’s pretty solid. During the trails there was pretty much no creaking or crackling from the interior as the vehicle shifted, and the articulation and leveling of the suspension is really damn great with the Sasquatch.
I highly highly highly recommend trying to get to one of these locations to put the Bronco through the ringer. I really think it’s worth your time and it was a lot of fun.
