Just received a Ford email. Basically drop all three options by March 7 or Ford will cancel your order. I am an October 2020 Granger reservation. Badlands/MIC/Lux/SAS.
Same. There's no mention of the 2 door except in a footnote that notes you can't switch from a 4 door to 2 door. A plain reading of the email suggests that 2 doors are not eligible for the $2500 but as we know, Ford is horrible at communication and given a mod at the other site more or less confirmed 2 doors qualify if you remove Lux and Sas, I think we can rely on that and ignore this email.

edit: here's the relevant text (maybe fact that it says "options" and MIC is not technically an option on the 2 door is enough?):

To thank you for your patience, you will be eligible for the 23MY Bronco Order Modification Private Offer Program. You will receive $2,500 toward the purchase or lease of your Bronco if:
  • Your order is a Wildtrak series and you change to a Big Bend, Outer Banks, or Badlands series without a Molded-In Color Hardtop, Sasquatch Package, or Lux Package*
  • Your order has any of these optionsā€”Molded-In Color Hardtop, Sasquatch Package, or Lux Packageā€”and you remove all of them from your current vehicle order

*4-door order may not change to a 2-door order

@Zach@Granger can we expect to receive an official message outlining specifically the Granger position on all of this? Sure would be nice to understand where we are on "the list" as of now with all of the recent shuffling. Really don't want to axe Sas package on my build, but I probably will if I absolutely have to. Just want to make an informed decision before the clock expires, again...
Yes, I'll get to work on it.

Yes, I'll get to work on it.
Could we possibly be told how many Heritage orders you have @ Granger?

I know they are "unaffected" in this offer, but knowing a # might be beneficial in making a decision to switch to something more likely to be built ( such as BL softie nonsas).

Still trying to be patient (838 days in) and get proper "official" confirmation first, but this is likely the final straw/breaking point if a 2-door hardtop is truly no longer an option. Sadly it'll be time to move on...

This was going to be my first ever Ford after owning over 50 vehicles. Now I'll probably not even consider any @Ford Motor Company product moving forward.

Just can't #staypumped any longer.

change order to a 4 door banks, no lux pkg, no hardtop, no bigfoot and save massive amount of dollars off msrp at granger. then trade for the 2 door you want. i wanted the everglades, but ford not allowing granger to order. called ford and support didn't know why, but verified i could not order an everglades from granger. so i ordered a heritage edition instead. yep, had to change that to a 4 door banks, soft top, no bigfoot. comes out to $45k before the discounts. this was my october special. i am somewhere in the mid 300s on the granger order list.

I'm a late Grangetober reservation holder, sitting at #324 on the last update from Zach. I really wanted a 2 door basesquatch. At this point I'm just ready to get off this wild ride, preferably with a Bronco that can handle medium-duty offroading.

I'm thinking of changing my order to a 2 door, Big Bend with rear locker. Hopefully I will qualify for the Price Protection Offer as well as the new $2500 offer. If they start offering a soft top for the 2 door, I would be all over that since I plan to switch anyway.

I read in the Stephens thread that info is supposed to be coming directly from Ford soon. I hope they do right by all my fellow Granger customers, although I'm not holding my breath.
after a very extensive 5 minute analysis of ford's latest move, i have determined that there is no chance of me getting my 350+ order grangetober special this lifetime. unless i changed to a 4 door (2 door mandates hardtop), no lux, no bigfoot. and samantha agreed with my analysis. so i changed. a level lift kit 2 inch + 34-35 inch tires is plenty for me.

I'm going to hold out for a few more weeks. I went to Priority Code 2 sometime recently, which means my order is locked from changes. That's usually a sign Ford might schedule it soon.

It could be related to all the 2 door manuals that were scheduled this week, but I'm going to wait as long as possible before deciding.

Similar story for me - I wanted in on the Grangetober deal, but waited until the end of the month because I was fine waiting a year or so šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø Four weeks and 160 orders between us.

I am in the same boat, but was told that I would need to stay two door (this was on day one of the fiasco). So I made the change from 2 door WildTrak to 2 door OBX 2.7 advanced 4x4 with high package, tow package, and aux switches. I realize that it would be a cold day in hell before I get scheduled and reading Ford's official announcement suggests that 2 door orders are not even a thing... Just completely ignored the possibility that any of us would have a two door order... but did state that 4 door orders would NOT be allowed to switch to two door. Nice work Ford.

email from samantha,
note that ford isn't saying you won't get the 2 door, bigfoot, lux bronc you ordered,
but i know that i won't in 2023, being 350+ on the granger scoreboard. note also, i don't see where ford says 2 door standard MIC doesn't apply; ford doesn't say "options", but ANY mic, lux, bigfoot. some granger order holders will get whatever they ordered even with all the constraints, but if your order is far down the granger list, i believe you won't get that constrained bronc this year, and lose the 2500$ and price protection etc.

Good afternoon,
On Friday, January 13, Ford announced that hard tops, the Sasquatch package, and the Lux package are constraints for the 2023 Ford Bronco. This affects both two-door and four-door builds. If your order does not contain these options, please disregard this e-mail.
Ford is supposed to send e-mails regarding this update to every reservation holder. They will be offering an additional $2,500 on top of price protection off. In order to qualify for this offer, orders must have all three constraints removed. Removal of these constraints is not required. However, keeping these constraints does risk that your order could end up not being built as a 2023 model and price protection being lost in 2024.
I understand how frustrating this news can be, and we wish we had more control of this as a dealership.
As this is a time-sensitive matter, please respond to this e-mail as soon as possible and notify me whether or not you would like to remove these constrained items.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Everything is speculation now and no one really knows. If everyone drops MIC/LUX/SAS, then suddenly those items are no longer constraints. A lot will depend on how many people take Ford up on this new offer.

There were a whole heap of 2 doors scheduled this week, so we'll see what happens. I'm willing to gamble a bit longer.

Can we just get a top delete option for the 2 door orders and end this fuckery about whether or not the 2 door Bronco needs to remove the MIC top?
