I think a no option rubicon is actually closer to the basequatch, the base bronco has a good bit of tech by itself, and then front and rear lockers with an upgraded stronger front axle, the only way I can see to get these options to keep is the rubicon. (Though the basequatch is missing out on the sway bar disconnect the rubicon has)everyone is stacking up the WT against the Rubicon but I haven’t seen many entry level trim comparisons. I think the Willys is about as close as you can get to a Basesquatch and in the US the Jeep is saving you about $6k. It’ll be interesting to see how Ford develops options and packages for the bottom end trims down the road.
