Latest Update Screws Up CarPlay

First of all Ford, can we please get full screen CarPlay? Second, can you at least not make it worse? After getting the latest Power-Up 2.3.1 I noticed that CarPlay is now surrounded by an ugly black box. Also, one time after starting up the Bronco logo load screen was peering through the CarPlay window while all of the other windows were on top blocking the rest of the load screen. Have to assume it was the update as I’ve never seen this before.

If they make that optional for CarPlay and Android Auto that might make some people happy, but personally I don't want full screen Android Auto or Apple CarPlay on the 12" screen because I love having easy access to the rest of sync 4 including vehicle status, climate and audio controls on the screen without having to dig through the phone software to exit Android Auto or Apple CarPlay like you do in my 8" SYNC 3 equipped vehicles and the same for the 8" SYNC 4 system where it takes over the entire screen.

So if they do allow it, don't force it on every one.

2.3.1? I just got updated today to 1.7.1. Do different packages have different powerup versions?

Hell no to full screen car play on 12”. What a waste. And 2.3.1 is old maybe you won’t see the glitches when your up to date.

I noticed that stupid black border as well. I think I might already be used to it as I’m not really noticing it as much anymore. .
i do love that Apple Carplay maps can now display in the small right panel where it was previously unavailable.
I also noticed a mild redesign of the XM screen. Removed the “live” button and moved the song title and artist to a different location.
