Had a 2018 f150 in Leadfoot. Loved it at first. After about a year, every time I saw another one on the road, I wanted something different. It's one of those that looks totally different from every angle and every light change. Goes from washed out light gray to dark. Only wheels that look good with it are black, gray or chrome.
It caught my eye when it was new but after a while it got old and hard to look at and like.
Hopefully that doesn't happen with the green this time around!

This really pisses me off… my 22 is awaiting shipping, and I tried talking my dealer into working Ford into letting me order my Bronco in Leadfoot Grey to match my F150 at the time. They wouldn’t let me, and now 2 yrs later it’s an option for the next model year which will be available to order in a few weeks. I really like this color and I think it’s perfect for the Bronco.

This is my photo. I was at a bronco owners of south eastern MI event at fords garage and posted the photo. Crazy that a lot of bronco owners didn’t pick up on the new color.
So does it look better in person? Cuz I’m not a fan…Im still waiting for my 22 carbonized gray. This pic isn’t giving me any incentive to stay with a gray if carbonized is gone now.

Looks like Lead Foot Grey is going to be a color for 2023. Photo credit from Facebook.

I dig it. It wouldn't be my first choice, but I'm in the camp that really likes solid "grayish" colors. I know of lot of car-peeps find them boring, but I prefer to do my own body work and touchups. It's sooooo much easier to color match a milky-solid than a metallic or pearl. In something like a Bronco where I know I'll get dings and scratches... I'm all-in on something like Leadfoot/Area51/CactusGray, etc.

Kind of a bummer if they nixed Area 51 in favor of this, though. Even though I like solid grays... this particular solid gray is about as boring as they come. Ha.
