If it's anything like other vehicles.... the BN video has to be wrong. It's weird that this button is on the "wrong side" but that is the lock button. It should unlock just by you putting your hand behind the latch as if you were going to open the door.

(This can also be seen in the BN WT video when he goes to open the tailgate and it unlocks before he puts his thumb near the button)

That is the lock sensor. The unlock sensor will be on the back of the handle.

Ah yes, it's the unlock sensor. Still, seems weird on the right hand side, no? My BMW is in the right hand thumb location. Guess I'm just used to that.

Once you use it it will make more sense. With it on that side, the chance of accidental unlocking is reduced. This setup works really well. It love this feature on my work vehicle.

Nope, it's the Lock sensor. Watch the video I linked above.

Everything opens to the right. Rear, door and why not the handles?

No one reads threads anymore before responding, do they?

Watch the video I linked above. It's likely the lock sensor, not the unlock sensor.

Even though the button is used to lock the vehicle. Why couldn’t you just grab it with your right hand from under with your palm up? Everyone try this now. 😂

My explorer has it in the "correct" position. Strange Ford decided to change it for the Bronco. I've not seen any other car brands that have it in the front of the handle either
