Agree no reason to bring attention to yourself

Stuff like a tail light out, or no front plate your typical fix it ticket stuff is a way for them to pull you over and then get you for something else.

Example, buddy of mine about 15 years ago got pulled over for no front plate. He ended up getting a DUI because he had a few drinks

I still don't get why NY still has front license plate, so many other states don't. It ruins the look of most cars

I run front plates because I know how difficult it can be to look for a stolen motor vehicle when folks only run rear plates.

Does it look clunky? Sure. Could it get my Bronco back faster? Hells yeah.

Counter point: If you are thinking about committing a series of criminal acts, you might even want to consider removing both the front and rear plate.

Required in CA, but the bracket to hold the plate has to be drilled into the front fascia, so I asked the dealer not to do it. I could not fathom drilling holes into this.

Yeah Virginia requires them too and has some of the strictest driving laws like getting charged with felony reckless driving if you grt caught going over 80. I'm not sure where they're going to fit the mount, but I hope it can be off to the side and not dead center.
At least we get Gadsden Flag option

I live in MA and hate the front license plate requirement. I plan on getting a Sto n Sho frame once they design one for the Bronco.

Look, we already established that the coolest states do not require front plates. Go eat some pineapple pizza and read through the older threads.
Right?!? I'm in Indiana and I never knew, til this thread, that any state required front plates. That's dumb as hell.

There are also no chase rules in place for motorcycles - at that point plates are almost irrelevant.

Required by law in my state. I don't want to give any reason to be pulled over (outside of my typical speeding and running yellow/red lights, lol) so yes, I will have a plate on the front.

My Truck, and my old Mustang never had it in the front

ONLY time I ever got bothered about it was when a cop had to give me something but otherwise cut me a break, fortunately it's a fine and no points

If anything, I'll take it off, ding it up and claim I messed things up offroading and meant to put it back on

I live in WA and front plates are required. For trucks and SUVs it’s fine and the Bronco will have one. Some cars look good with a front plate too. I had one one my Focus RS because I think it goes well with the hot hatch look. My M3 not so much. A couple of my M3 friends had a mini gathering around a month or so ago. 11 ///M cars and zero front plates!

I’m from Illinois and a front license plate is required by law, but looking at the Bronco I’m willing to risk it and forgo the plate on the front. I’m curious if anyone else is going to do this as well? If you are mounting a front plate where will you mount it?
I’m in Illinois also and will be putting the front license plate on. The front bumper looks like it should be easy to mount a license plate on.

I have never put a front license plate on my 2001 corvette since I bought it new. I’ve never been pulled over for not having a front plate. But I Read on the corvette forum that some communities in northern Illinois do give tickets for not having a front plate.
