The new Bronco Raptor has 4500 pounds in towing capacity. No one has one yet so… 3500 pounds for most of us.
I really like the No Boundaries NOBO 10.6. Light weight and I can put a four wheeler in it. I do not want the RTT because it will not fit in my garage. As it sits without the RTT, I will have to take some air out of the tires as my garage clearance is exactly 7’9”. I took some pictures of the spec sheet and floor layout from the brochure show below. The height is to the top of the AC. My other choice would be TAXA Tiger Moth. TAXA is made in Houston where I live and super engineered. Their other two models, Cricket and Mantis, are a little bit too heavy in my opinion. I take a lot of gear and my wife is strict with rules so I cannot go much over 3k pounds loaded. Correct me if I’m wrong but the dry weight of the trailer does not include items such as battery, cooler, awning, rack, water, solar panels, or any other options. This will add up faster than your Walmart receipt from when you only needed 1 thing and came out with a cart full. If you have a trailer with the dry weight of 3K, be cautious!

I removed my tow package several months ago and still haven't been scheduled. Getting pushed to '23. After reading all 30 pages this thread, I'm definitely going to put tow pkg back in.
I would take it off the build sheet and have it dealer installed same with many of the other options they can be dealer installed.

Anyone have a woolly bear for a decent amount of time? Possibly going to be buying one this weekend.

I’ve had a woolly bear for a year now….been loving it so far. Got about 10,000 miles on it between local trips and trips out to Colorado, Utah, and Montana. What kind of questions you got?

Haven't had it behind the Bronco yet, but we've used the ever loving wee out of our 12RK and have been completely happy with it:

Wow, a lot of great posts and ideas on this thread. I've done a lot of digging into trailers and ideas that fit my needs. One trailer that I didn't see on this thread is the Nuthouse Peanut out of Ohio. If money was no object, I'd probably buy this, put a good RTT and awning on it.

The only drawback to this type of setup like the Peanut/Patriot, etc. is no way to haul my 4-wheeler. With that being the case, I'm leaning more to an enclosed cargo trailer and setting it up with water, a sink, etc. When this comes to fruition, I'll put my RTT and a 270 degree awning to finish it off. Since I won't do serious off roading with it, I think it is the right combo for me.

BTW - Happy Holidays!

break in run of 550+ miles. pulled very well smooth no sway from semi trucks.
Nice! I have a Sun-Lite 16 BH that pulls well, even behind the 2 door Bronco. No sway from semi's but it does seem a little bit more spicy than I anticipated around 70 MPH.

This is probably due to a number of factors, the least of which is the shorter wheel base of the 2 door. I have a few adjustments to make, but I am sure that it will just get easier with a few tweaks. I managed 11.1 mpg through the Texas Hill Country.

These trailers are all great. I’ve been looking at small stuff off and on for years and never made a purchase.

Question: are these more common with 4 pole flat connectors or 7 pole round? The overland trailers I mean. I know a lot of the regular travel trailers are round.
Our Bronco did not come with tow capability, but I have the 4 pole OE kit to add still have to find a hitch. I cannot seem to find a “kit” or an easy way to add a 7 pole. I know there was a write up, but it seemed like a process.

I got a good anderson sway control and blue tooth brake controller and have no issue but mine is 4 door. It was stable enough I upgraded trailer to 2023 Nobo 19.2.

I have a M1102 light weight aluminum military trailer that’s supposed to be pulled behind the military hummer. My truck was built last week and hopefully it will be home within a month. Two-door badlands Sasquatch package.
i’m curious to find out how unlevel the trailer will ride behind the Bronco on 35’s when the trailer sits on 37’s….

The M1101 and M1102 military light tactical trailer seems to be the ideal lightweight, yet rugged overland camper. Easy to tow, easy to modify and customize to your situation. A few options currently available, plus pictures, and ideas for your build see:

M1102 is what I picked up a while back just to pull gear behind the Bronco
