I'd say easier in that you could just pressure wash it, no?

No soap, sponge, or nothing... Just hard pressure because that stuff doesn't come off anyway, right?

Just spitballing because I have no experience with the stuff, just seen it on vehicles.
You can, and that's what most do.
I have a long-handled medium bristled brush I used on mine before to get the stuff out of the recesses that normal washing didn't get out.
It is definitely rugged and tough stuff.
And done right, it is really cool.

It gets a lot of bad rap for a lot of reasons.
Most people who go to buy a vehicle with it think it was done to hide damage, and in some cases it was I am sure.
I've done it for others, had a Jeep with it one time, did the bumpers, wheel arches, and lower half of my Expy with the desert tan Raptor. Never any issues with peeling or fade.

I am genuinely curious how this turns out here.
Because if I ever do mine one day, it will be either Desert Tan or OD green... so a nice preview here without the trial and error.

I think tapping the edges on everything would of been a better route and just cover the surfaces. Other than that LineX stuff has come a long ways and if its professionally done, it will look pretty darn good.

Super interested in how it turns out. I think for myself, considering the work that goes into it, I may have done that after I had used up the paint I already had. It seems like it is essentially repainting the whole vehicle.

I used a different product (monstaliner) on my sequoia. Very durable and washing is no problem. This particular product is a bumpy, but not rough surface. The bedliner I have in my F150 is very rough, and that would be terrible on the body. I don't know how LIne-x compares, but I have only heard good things about it.

When I did it on my Jeep (top, fender flares, rock rail, bumpers), it looked really good and it was easy to wash. You can see the Rock Slide Engineering cut out on the bumper under the passenger side headlight is a bunch of narrow holes, but the coating didn't plug it up.

After 3 years (1 of those parked outside), it started to look a little uneven. I felt like the right product would have cleaned that up, but hey, it was a Jeep.

Pardon the inclusion of a Jeep on the Bronco forum...

"I'll tell you what you owe me when I'm finished" seems like writing someone a blank check. Can you tell I work in Purchasing? 😆

Looks awesome!

Also, you may want to update your original post so that folks don't need to search the entire thread for updates.
