Somewhere I read about a ''Rear Cargo Management System" relative to accessories. And if you look closely at some of the four door area 51 camper versions, there is a cover that looks like a security cover in the back interior of the truck as well as metallic molle treatment on the rear of the rear seats and sides of the back cargo area. Additonally there are the cleat systems on the floor of the back cargo area to secure the refrigerator, water cans, etc. Hopefully these things will be available and included in the ordering guide before orders are taken.

yes the overland concept had this which lets you have a secure trunk with roof off. Since they’re charging $600 for two pod lights, can’t even imagine What this would cost.

I too was thinking how this bitch list was growing in my mind over the past couple of days. So many options that are not available. Here’s a couple more that have me pissed off:

• Tow Package
• Electric Seats - now not even available for leather option
• slide out tailgate

The late availability painted modular top is enough. Wouldn’t you think FORD would want to take care of their most fervent brand supporters? This is becoming a love hate thing with FORD already, and I don’t even have it yet. Mike are you listening? Oh yeah, “stay tuned”.

The Tow package is there I have it selected as another option which should have been part of one of the other options.

I would like whatever is on the sides and looks like the back of the seats here. Looks like you can attach different stuff. Plus I think it would keep my dog from scratching up the sides and the seat backs.

As cool as that slide out tailgate is, I believe aftermarket is going to bring better configurations that will level the trunk space and utilize it for storage. To me, that tailgate is a waste of valuable space. I could have a lift-up storage area under there where i keep recovery straps, gloves, foldable spades, even a winch anchor.

Or it could be a locked drawer where you can stuff your valuables when the top is off and you have parked it at the trail or the beach.

Or even a large water container for when you go on an adventure in the desert.

I agree and it seems like a cheaper small accessory for Ford to procure or manufacture. Weird that it's not available. Unless, them showing it off on concepts was just them showing that there's Bronco bolts on the dash so that you can mount a picatinny rail if you'd like. If that's the case, I'd be happy with that. I'll just buy a rail on Amazon or something.
