So I’ve been reading the board here for a while, anxiously awaiting my BL with blend date (fingers crossed) of 11/23. I thought it would be good to have a good list of things to check when taking delivery. Sorry if this exists already. Here are some are there others?

- misaligned hood/ bent hood
- rear glass struts in MIC hardtop - are they secure?
- fish eyes in paint
- misaligned panel next to rear tailamps
- General defects in MIC top
- bad/unsightly welds in “roll bar”
I’m sure there are others. What known issues should we look for at delivery?

Missing Bronco? Since many of us would love even a defective Bronco.

Nope, bitch better be perfect, I'll wait. They need to fix their shit

I don't have time to break down or fix issues. Plus it will be my only car, if it's broke im f#cked

Hoping for the best, expecting the worst:ROFLMAO:

If it's a V6 I would make sure no radiator hoses are near pullies. I've seen at least one member have a hose get shredded and blow antifreeze a couple hundred miles on his drive home. I would also check that the hoses are secured as well. I've seen a members here blow out because it was tightened down

Thomas (@Theherofails ) had posted an excellent, detailed delivery checklist a ways back. That and the other suggestions here should take care of you!

@Seanette has been putting together a list of things to bring with us when we finally go to claim our Bronco, and things to check for before we drive it off the lot.

Here's what she has so far…

Code:
When claiming Bronco:
tire pressure gauge
air compressor
zip ties
hose clamp pliers

Check:
lower coolant hose (the one near a pulley)
tire pressure
battery terminals
hose clamps
body gap alignment
door clicking
fluid levels

I haven't really reviewed it much yet, myself, but will as we get closer to the time.

Items to check (based on Bronco6g OP feedback):
Pulley rub/ proximity next to radiator hose
Coolant hose clamp tight
Battery terminals tight (negative loose)
MIC Hardtop rough/sharp edges, gaps, leaks, roof rattles latches...especially seal in middle
Test all roof latches (some missing)

Roll all windows up at once
Check window auto-drop

https:///forum/threads/bronco-team-engineering-confirms-7-0-quarts-for-2-7l-engine-oil-change-is-correct.29047/
