Any update on the HNT?
I know we haven't posted updates in awhile, been powering in the shop finalizing the products and R&D. By the end of the day Friday, a hard update will be made on this forum and a email will be sent to everyone on the waitlist to move forward on their position on the waitlist.

In addition, we should have the first article HNT winch bumper and HNT rear bumper.

Hi everyone, here are some updates on each of the new LOBO Off-Road products we're working on. I'll update each of them in a separate post, starting with the HNT Hidden Winch Skid:

As you can see, the HNT Winch Skid is finished, and we've actually completed our initial production run of 20 units. We've announced it to our waiting list, and are giving them first crack at them. These will begin shipping out a week from this Monday, after we get back from Off-Road Expo here in Southern California. We're giving our Waiting List members this next week to pull the trigger if they'd like to, after which we'll be freeing up the rest (if any are available from the first run) for anyone to order. Note that this is for the 2.3L version ONLY, as we're still not finished with our 2.7L variant. 2.7 folks sit tight, we're working on the brackets we need for you, but it might be a few more weeks.

By the way that's just a 3D-printed plastic prototype of our winch fairlead, so a brief update on that is that it's not ready yet. But it fits great on our skid :)

Since this one is now in the ordering stage I've disabled the "waiting list" function for it, and we'll be replacing the "Work In Process" page with the actual product page once the waiting list folks have had their chance at it. That page will have more info, photos, etc., and of course an order button :) I'll update this thread when that happens, tentatively slated for next Friday.

As you saw in the pics above, the HNT Front Bumper is now also complete, design-wise. But we're not done with the initial production run of those yet, so if you're on the waiting list for it sit tight a bit longer. We anticipate several more weeks until those are ready. In the meantime, here are a couple more looks at it, all powder coated and finished up :)

And here's a look at it with some Rigid DXL's installed in the center section. This requires a mounting bracket that will be sold separately:

For those who want that High-N-Tight look but aren't planning on running a winch, the HNT Front Bumper pairs up very nicely with the HNT Aluminum Front Skid. This skid has even better clearance and much lighter weight than the hidden winch skid, making it great for those light-weight and pre-runner builds.

Ford Bronco Lobo Off-Road Product Development Thread F6-17-2111_F-2400w

This skid comes with replacement cooler mounts so you can use it even if your Bronco came with the plastic bumper, and you won't have to take a sawzall to those silly recovery loops. The skid and brackets together weigh less than 15 lbs., but with 3/16" thick material it's still tough enough to take a hit and protect the bits behind it.

Ford Bronco Lobo Off-Road Product Development Thread DTS_1530X-2400w-1024x683

We're offering these in both bare aluminum and black powder coat. The bare ones have beautiful exposed TIG welds for that cool desert pre-runner look. The powder coated ones have been finish-sanded prior to coating.

Ford Bronco Lobo Off-Road Product Development Thread DTS_1541X-2400w-1024x683

The HNT Aluminum Front Skid is Ready to Order! That's right, we've also completed the initial 20-piece run of these as well. Half will be available in bare aluminum and half in black powder coat. We'll be releasing these to our wait list first, sometime this coming week. And after giving them first crack, we'll make the ordering page public for everyone to grab them. If you're on the waiting list for these, hang on a couple more days as we'll be sending out a notice on these about the middle of the week!

Lastly, we have some progress to report on both the WNC Winch Bumper and the HNT Rear Bumper. Both are pretty much done with R&D, we're currently assembling prototypes and will have photos to share of both soon.

If you're in Southern California and you can make it over to the Off-Road Expo at the Pomona Fairgrounds next weekend, we'd love to have you come on by and check everything out. We'll have a big booth inside the main hall there, showing off everything we've been working on. We'll have everything you see so far in this thread as well as finished, powder-coated WNC Front Winch Bumper and HNT Rear Bumper on display!

Looking forward to seeing both of these new bumpers. Please post pictures of them from the expo.

Question:
From the grill to the end of the WNC bumper, what is that measurement? The measurement Im looking for is from the front of the grill straight forward.

Prototypes are at powdercoat. I should have them back mid week and will provide that info. According to the CAD model, its just under 4".

Where is the intercooler in relation to the winch on the Winch bumper? I am unable to see on the photos for preorder. It appears to be directly behind winch. Is this correct? How will it breath?
Thanks
