Excited to see a release on this! So IIRC the second option was an aftermarket intercooler that fits with the kit correct? The only reason I ask is because I use my adaptive cruise control a lot and I would prefer to leave it in the stock location if possible to make sure it works reliably. Unfortunately, the Mishimoto high mount kit requires a relocation of the radar.

It would, but would sense the mounting brackets would be lowered 3/16", I would recommend adding 3/16" spacers to the lower mounts as well. However you maybe able to do it without, just a little tougher to mount up. If you were to run one our bumpers as well, it would need to be mounted lower or not use the tie in from the bumper to the skid

Hello guys, I wanted to post a side profile view to demonstrate how little our HNT bumper and WNC skid intrudes on the approach angle. I attended the bronco super celebration event in Colorado this past week and many comments were made how many company's talk about how great the approach angle is or only take photos at certain angles and the end user being disappointed when they received the product. I would like to be upfront about out product and really show some of our key features. Front face of the bumper is equivalent to the modular bumper in the center ( more clearance on the ends) and the WNC skid is not enough to claim a certain amount within the factory steal skid that comes with the mod bumper, However the profile of the skid fits within the factory skid and has more clearance on the sides

Yes the horns off the front of the crossmember will need to be removed, as they are directly in the location of the winch. If you are using the modular bumper, the winch skid will fit without any modifications to the bumper itself. We closed the gaps between the skid and the bumper, therefore some minor trimming to the plastic shroud that the ACC is mounted in will need to happen, as they plastic hangs down on the backside of the bumper. If you were to Use our HNT bumper, the plastic shroud would be eliminated all together and the ACC would need to be relocated. We are working on our relocation bracket, but there are many on the market already.
I have the Warn Zeon Platinum winch that I’ll be using with this. I have the solenoid long relocation kit for it but that’s a lot of wires to be stuffing in an already crowded space. Do you think the winch will fit with the control pack attached, now that the high mount intercooler frees up a little space in there?

The relocation kit is not needed to clear the intercooler itself, but to clear the brake line. I can not recommend on record to "bend"/ push the brake line out of the way, but I know many have done so and kept the solenoid pack on the winch. Another option is our relocation kit. I say it all the time "everyone loves their own kid" but our kit does make the wiring much cleaner. A group of wires almost goes straight up to the relocation kit, and then the ground from the winch and power from solenoid join the factory wire harness on top of the core support ( behind radiator) and go to battery.

I did look at that option. From your photos I’m having a hard time picturing the setup. I need to go out to my Bronco and compare your photos with that actual rig.

I split fuel line and wrapped my brake line and bent the brackets to clear it and it ‘rests’ against the winch

that’s what I ‘did’ with the platinum zeon s

I will try and take better pictures of the one I have installed. It is hard to take a descriptive picture in the area.

I found the B6G thread that you have on the relo kit and saw a photo there that helped. I think I know where that spot is. Thanks for the follow up!

Hey @Lobo Off-Road any insight on this?
Option 2 and 3 are not a aftermarket intercooler. I am filling it out with a couple companies, about making a aftermarket heat exchanger in order to fit in the area availible. However a American made heat exchanger would cost just as much as the Mishimoto high mount intercooler kit.

3rd option, that anyone could do is put a external oil cooler on the transmission and eliminate the heat exchanger all together.

Any off-road shop should be more than capable of mounting a cooler, wiring a fan and plumbing the tranny lines to the cooler. So im not sure if I will be providing a kit for something any shop can easily do. The heat exchanger replacement option is still be evaluated, if it worth the investment.

Thanks for the reply. The cost is not so much what I'm worried about. Just want an option that doesn't require me to move my radar for the adaptive cruise control.

speaking hypothetically let’s just say I was able to incorporate a mount into the heat exchanger relocation mount to keep the ACC in a stock location for the modular bumper. That would solve all concerns?
