200,000????? I find that hard to believe. Wrangler owns this segment and hell they only sell around 200-220K units a year....I find it hard to believe this segment has the volume to support 400-500K/yr. Sure Ford will let everyone know how many "pre-orders" were received in the first week.

Yeah seeing that number scares me in a good way, but I think you also gotta ask yourself how many of that 200K are actually going to buy one when it’s time to shit or get off the pot. Most folks on here have reserved two, but haven’t even asked our wives if we can actually buy one yet. That number will probably drop dramatically... although I wish it wouldn’t

It's a fully refundable $100. There's little to no risk. I know plenty of folks who reserved because they could, not because they plan on actually going through with it (although some might). Anecdotal, sure, but I have a feeling it's not an atypical situation.

My buddy is a GSM. He said I better keep my order because dealers are going to suck up the cancelled orders for extra inventory as they dealers will get there allotments behind the reserved ones (minus dealer demo and marketing models). Meaning there won’t be any for under MSRP next summer, unless you know a dealer willing to deal or have some sort of Ford pricing plan. The reserved ones don’t count against the dealer. They only drive their total sales numbers up.

I agree with ya. I love it and think its going to sell well. Having to wait another 8-10 months to get one is what blows.

Looks like the 2/4-door toggle is not showing up. May've been disabled purposefully due to 4-door reservation capacity being met or could just be a bug. Interesting regardless.

Had the same thing on mobile but my laptop still worked and looks like I reserved a 4door badlands.
