Hey,
Install is finally done after 1.5yr of zero support from Wicked Creations. I just wanted install instructions and all they have to offer is a video of an install on a Tacoma, very basic... Customer support is
.
Anyway, parts and pieces are nice and of good quality. Sorting out the right coilovers took some time and need to tweak the alignment a bit more. So it feels more planted at full throttle and highway speeds. Open to your thoughts on setup...
Also installed the Fox 2.5 coilovers. I have 3.5" lift available but, I did not use it and adjusted them to match the factory SAS lift due to garage door clearance. So, to be clear... there is no lift or levelers installed and running 37" K02s.
Next up:
* Adding the matching Fox shocks to the rear.
Looking for recommendations on bump stops and straps... Thanks in advance!
If anyone is interested... I have concentric 2" wheel spacers (4ea) and the OEM coilovers with 35K miles on them, that are available.
UPDATE: 1/29/2025
Friday I picked up the WT after the alignment was done. It road like it was not planted to the road, and the steering wheel was not truly clocked straight (just a few degrees). I tried adjusting the slow travel setting to max. It was better but in Sport mode it walk. The WT went back to reset the alignment.
Turns out the WIcked the extended tie-rods have a different thread pitch then the factory. We were able to get a hold of Wicked, and they are sending new extensions. Hopefully, the correct ones...
