Anyone paying attention to the forum and all the issues random people are having (fuel pumps, valves, tie rods, nav screens, etc.), and then willing to venture out 15-20 hours from home without a top, is a hardcore gambling man/woman 😂

I do ride a motorcycle, but a helmet is required. Is the noise close to a jet ski?
I think it’s actually a bit worse. On my jet-ski at 70 my head is in strong, but clean wind. In the Bronco, there’s a lot of turbulent air all over the cabin. Seatbelts flopping etc….

I’ve thought about a soft top, but it doesn’t fit my budget. But maybe it will if my Bronco takes another year to be built. 😅
Yeah it sucks they dropped the dual top option. I’d like to have both myself.

We are doing it in my ‘21 this weekend that is the engine build date is 1 week before the earliest known failure date for the 2.7. Heading out from Michigan to Niagara Falls out to NH for the Off Roadeo. Then out to Maine and the coast. Hopefully all goes well. Oh we are bringing the soft top lol

I was refereeing the the rest of your list about stuff going wrong lol.
Well you may as well throw caution to the wind and leave the top home; hell leave the doors and the spare tire home too! 😂

I think you should go for it. What is the worst that could happen? You can then tell us all what it was like...

I've done about 5 hours without a top or doors. If the weather is good I love it. Just be sure to pack the sunscreen.

But yes, when you eventually stop your ears will be ringing from the wind noise.
That’s hearing damage and can’t be reversed. As someone who’s lost too much, I strongly advise hearing protection for longer trips. Tinnitus and saying “what” is no fun

Seconded.

I've lost a lot and am doing what I can to preserve the rest.

Go for it!! Be one with the world around you! Isn’t that what the “Bronco experience” is all about! Earplugs are are a good idea along with a stereo upgrade (or headsets) plus a cover for rainstorms and over nite. And hollering at each other is great way to communicate! Do it before ya get “old” like all the naysayers here!
