Does anyone know what size allen/hex key we need to unscrew the stock shift knob?

I got mine in yesterday but don't have the correct size in my allen key set (7/64ths kept slipping, 1/8ths was too big).
It is metric I think 3 mm

Thank you both! I went and got a 3mm and it seems that my screw is on there pretty tight. I'm afraid I might strip it.

How much effort did it take you to unscrew that bolt? I feel like it shouldn't be that hard (but there is also the high possibility that I'm a moron...)

Hey White Madness Garage,
How close is your competition orange to the Ford Cyber Orange?

Things do not seem to be going for me the past few days. I dropped the bolt like a dunce somewhere in my car/garage and can't seem to find it. It was kind of stripped anyways so probably a good idea to replace it.

I'm thinking of ordering some replacement bolts from McMaster-Carr but not sure what size to order.

Does anyone know what the length of the m3 bolt is?

I asked Ducatti but Ford doesn't list that part separately from the manual shifter assembly so he wasn't sure.

I don't have the exact size but if I remember correctly it was about 1/2". Maybe buy 1 ea. 1/2 & 3/4 @ a hardware store to be safe.
