Did you sand the roof down to remove the plastic textured surface?Added photos with doors on!
Price was minimal I paint cars just really time consuming these tops are not ready to paint at all but with alot of sanding and priming I achieved a suitable surface to paint.

I could paint it but I think maybe the black looks better not sure
the mirrors were not textured just the flares and yes all parts are smooth finish now
I blocked the entire surface with 150grit then primed then 150 blocked and 220 blocked then primed again then blocked with 320 and da with 400 and yes I blocked the most of the surface flat I used ppg 3055 primer
all ppg products on top also basecoat is water-based and yes these are the textured now smooth SAS flares
funny enough...BLUBYU is the plate for a blue M3 around where I live...well, at least it was a few years ago...I used to see it on the road all the time lol

Looks great, I painted the top and the Sasquatch fender flares that I bought from a friend on my wife’s cyber orange two-door a metallic dark grayAdded photos with doors on!

Yeah I think I’m going to have the fender flares covered with paint protection filmlooks good mine is holding up well the flares are taking some rocks even with the mudflaps on seems to be sticking where the chips are though
everything is still looking good just taking some chips on the flares other than that all is wellHowdy, just curious how is everything holding up 6 months later?
