I wouldn't confuse seeing advertised discounts of ~ -8% off MSRP on an almost 2 year old leftover vehicle 'giving the breed away"

I brought home my new '24 yesterday... amazing vehicle for the $$..

But the Raptor-specific cluster doesn't have the same modes as other models, so the conversion is unacceptable. We need an offering from Ford.
Ah I see what you're saying.

I'm sure eventually they'll do a similar cluster for all the models, then you could likely swap one of those to have everything look oem

I suspect we'll see the China market cluster, similar to the Raptor, in NA for MY2025.

As long as I run my Daily Driver Braptor under 80mph, I average 16.7 mpg. I'll take that anyday!

My last tank, mostly small town driving with some hwy showed 17.6 mpg on the dash and calculated to 17.26 mpg actual.

I happy with that.

The Raptors have a very limited number of real buyers. Lots of people can justify driving a Jeep or a Bronco for a daily or even a second vehicle. But once you cross over to that trophy level vehicle, the market shrinks considerably. Ford just found out how many they can't dump into the market place too quickly.
Nailed it, there's a very small market for these Bronco Raptors. Not being a V8 really tanked a big get for most buyers.

Finally saw one in person and I can't begin to tell you how hideous these things are. It's like the took a Bronco in Microsoft paint and stretched it to 1.5x width. You can put 37's on a Wildtrak with relatively little hassle.

Not my point, Ford sold you short by mailing in the design for the Braptor. You shouldn't have to choose between looks and function for what you paid...

Exactly how I felt before I test drove one. Now I love how it looks. Sort of like personality changing the way you see a person.

Wish guys would please stop with the posts trying to drag the Braptor. Sure, looks are subjective, but it’s not ugly.

Most important, the Braptor is f@%king awesome and almost untouchable off-road until you bring something with a cage and even then, I’ll argue Braptor overall since you can drive it daily.

To build a Wrangler to top it, you’re starting with a Ruby, then adding another $60K in upgrades and maybe not including the V8 swap.

Many of you are either letting your envy slip show, or you have no experience in the off-road game if you can’t see that truck for what it is objectively.

Only complaint I can give is the moar door issue, but I understand it based on the customers in this market. It’s just tacky to have some of these comments.

We’re all Bronco. Hell, I even accept the Moar door crowd; it’ll wheel, can’t it? Not as well, but it gets it done before the belly drag.

They’re expensive is the only reason they’re not selling and not because there isn’t a V8, it’s because there’s more new competition at this price now and Ford shot their wad too much and just need to dial it back, the market is correcting the shenanigans.

Some of us build our Broncos into something significantly better than a stock Raptor. With 38s and 5.38 gearing my Bronco will out accelerate a Raptor, and I get to drive a manual transmission not a RAV4 like Raptor (although the Raptor can carry more paper towels home from the grocery store than my 2 door)

Raptors also don't have a low crawl ratio and only have 4.7 gearing which is pretty pathetic with 37s. The Raptor does make a much better mall crawler though since it takes more times around the parking lot looking for a space it can fit into. Raptors also only have a Dana 50 rear differential.

And while it has a really great suspension its not up to the same level of suspension as can be purchased for on-road driving.

Not everyone who doesn't buy a Raptor can't afford a Raptor. Some of us just aren't willing to settle for a Raptor with its break over angle.

Yeah, but did you get the nicer dash (gauges, layout, etc.)? Code Orange Accent Seat Belts? ;)

You literally followed "looks are subjective" with a definitive statement! Personally I can only stomach those fender flares if they are paint matched. I love the rest of it, but its also built pretty far from my use case.
