one of the best off-road drivers on planet earth. Just goto YouTube and do a search on him

Sorry I’m new so this might be a silly question, but who’s Loren Healy?

Seems like they didn't have as much input on the Raptor as they did with the Bronco. Glad to her thy have good things to say about it.

Oh, he's just some guy that took a stock First Edition Bronco through Pritchett Canyon with nothing more than a broken tail light.
I'm sure you'll ask, so Pritchett Canyon is one of the harder trails in MOAB, with many with rolling over and breaking axles.

Well if that's all it takes to be considered one of the best, let me introduce myself....and i didn't break anything.
1986 Bronco II Prichett Canyon 1990, note massive P195 x 15 tires and hidden winch mount....
Ford Bronco Loren Healy talks about driving the Bronco Raptor for the 1st time for the Ford Performance video IMG_20220923_0001

...and yeah it was going downhill..

Everyone knows rocks were easier to climb in the 90s.
All jokes aside, that is awesome. Doesn't even look you you aired down!
Or did that not exist in the 90s? :D

Toss this guy the Raptor keys and let’s see what he says about it. That pic is awesome. I always equated the Bronco II with the Ford escape, but this clearly shows I had quite the misconception. Love it!
The Bronco II was the most under rated 4x4 of all time. Dimensionally identical to the Early Bronco, good gearing, highway manners and mpg to boot. Owned three of them, hoping my 2021 is as good.

Great video! Would love to go to the Crandon race sometime. Bummer about Zandy, I met him when he visited KOH for the first time, and then he decided to become a racer. Serious stuff, that was a tough couple of days for the Ultra4 family, glad Vaughn included it in the video. I think Loren's comments on the Raptor are legit. Yes, Ford is one of his sponsors, but he also has his own company now and a large following, and keeping his credibility is important. Those 4600 trucks are pretty heavy, so not too surprising that the Raptor would pull them in a straight line. Sweet!

Loren is amazing...and Vaughn is no slouch either! One of the best drifters out there. Those guys are very impressive at Crandon...big jumps, LOTS of speed and BIG commitment for sure!

So I’m not judging or anything, but after looking him up isn’t he sponsored by Ford? I think I saw him in more sponsored Ford Bronco content than race content.

Wouldn’t this be the same as asking Mike Levine his thoughts on taking the Bronco around the track?
Let’s not compare Loren Healy with Ford’s PR guy.
Loren can drive the heck out of a 4X4. Great driver/racer and a super cool guy. Scary fast!
I’ll let everyone form their own opinion on the “By September” guy.

Nothing like an Escape, first body on frame construction and primarily rear wheel drive vs the escape that was basically a front wheel drive with rear wheel capable of getting power.
