In the below pic, you can see the pinch weld exposed before adding the rocker panel trail armor. As you can see, you can have tube steps too.

Wow that’s a well thought out accessory. Enthusiasts griping about the ugly appearance of that pinch weld is so common that you have to wonder why that part of this accessory isn’t standard equipment. Yeah, I know…$$$.

I’ll likely look into something like this eventually but sold from a third party. I really detest the principle of Ford selling me a solution to a problem they created. It just feels like rewarding them for a job poorly done.
