Edit: Updates and progress below...
Day 1 Order July 13 2020 / Delivery Nov 2021
Originally FE Cactus Grey but unfortunately the FE version did not have many color options. Supreme Wraps Dallas completed the wrap with rails and door jambs in less than 2 weeks. We've been off-roading about 2 weeks after picking it up and camping a few nights while sleeping inside the Bronco. It was sub 20* weather and we were surprisingly fine in a sleeping bag.
Built a custom platform that goes on top of storage drawers to lay flat and had plenty of room for 2 of us to still sleep good. Roof rack (BATents) is solid on top, zero movement. Better than initially expected although Fedex kindly helped us get a few pieces scratched up on the brackets. Love the cockpit cover (Ford accessories 60k points used) for ease of use and not having to put the top on every night. It's not great in the rain at all as expected it will drip through after a while but for clear weather and not having to reinstall the hardtop every time, its been great! Works with the rear shell on or off but definitely is a tight fit on the side mirrors. Will post additional details as I go or for questions...
Few other mods currently added:
- Badass Tents Half rack
- Baja Design Fog Light Kit (4x4TruckLEDs)
- Stickerfab matte/gloss details - Wheel center cap, door steps, trail sight inserts
- Archetype Rail - smooth long rail
- Shorty Antenna
- Ford Storage drawers
- Bronco Cockpit cover
- GoRhino D6 Rails (Panda Motorworks)
- Ford Tailgate Table
- Bestop Bimini Top
- JCR Door Pockets & Molle Panels
- BATents Rear Tire Rack
- Pelican Storage Boxes
Still waiting on a coil over setup to be in production and looking at the Baja 8XL linkable to possible add. Frame mounted rock rails are starting to be released so I'll probably be switching over soon since the GoRhino are secured to pinch weld/factory location. More to come....
Short Half Roof Rack w/ Black Rails (BA Tents)
Original Color
Cockpit cover - still fits with Rear roof on
Archetype Rail - full length smooth black
Warn Shackles w/ Baja Design Off-Road Fog Light Kit ordered from 4x4TrucksLEDs (S2 Pro Amber wide, Spot, Clear Wide - covers are available to be ordered for easy changes)
Example of trail sight insert from Stickerfab
Running an IceCo fridge for camping (VL45 version)- solid design for the price and no issues. I use an external temp sensor on the side to monitor it.
Glovebox Insert - made by Mabett
Bestop Bimini Top - stores under hardtop
Top off - roll bar wrap
DIY Shelf - easy plywood from home depot with felt wrap
More than the mall... some early belly scars - all skid plate action
Baja Design Fogs
Single Person Roof Removal - Garage Hoist installed
Running the obstacle course with Todd Bacon (from Offroading101) Brazos Valley/Hidden Falls
3/28 update:
Added JCR Door Pockets & Molle Panels - much more room for items now
4/2 Added option to attach Pelican Cases for Cargo
LR4 Baja Design Lights
