So for 2300$ from High to Lux they offer us:
1) "2 additional front row smart-charging USB ports" - 10$ car charger on Amazon
2) "Wireless charging pad" - wireless car charger - 35$ on Amazon
3) "Voice-Activated Touchscreen Navigation System" - built-in in Android Auto/Apple Carplay - free
4) Heated steering wheel - OK (how often is it used?)
5) "Evasive Steering Assist" - you need to start maneuvering by yourself, why not finish by yourself? but OK.
6) "B&O Sound System with 10 speakers including a subwoofer" - OK
7) "Adaptive Cruise Control" - this is the only feature I really need.
8) "Universal garage door opener" - OK, but device which can open any garage door costs 150$

Then, funny fact - necessary hardware for "Adaptive Cruise Control" and "Evasive Steering Assist" is already included in lower trims! (radar + camera). This is only software-activated feature.
I really hope "Adaptive Cruise Control" will be available ala carte.

So for 2300$ we have in reality:
Subwoofer, heated wheel, 200$ accessories from Amazon and few software-activated features. Really??

What's your thoughts?
I'm more than happy with the Standard Package.

4Dr Badlands, 2.7L auto, hardtop, C.O., & downgrade to cloth seats. No extras!

It's not much of a value that's for sure. I do like the heated steering wheel in the winter, and the adaptive cruise is pretty cool. I have them in my Jeep. I'll bet that if you want leather sets you'll be forced to buy the "lux" package. Manufacturer's (not just Ford) have a way of selling you things you would otherwise not buy. It's a profit deal. :)

Unfortunately, you get a leather wrapped steering wheel, but not a heated steering wheel. It is only available through the Lux package. It would be nice if they changed it to be included in a "cold weather package" like what Jeep has, but I doubt that will happen for this year.

Nope, only FE gets it as 'standard' and that is only because the FE has basically all the options :)

Ford Bronco Lux package not worth it at all heatedsteeri
based on the estimated priced options, my wife's specced out 4dr badsquatch will end up costing around $3500 more (not including the warn winch) than the FE. Good news is, I wouldn't have to worry about replacing the FE interior to get rid of the navy blue. Bad news is, I'd probably save money replacing the FE interior if I had a FE reservation.

I'm looking at around 56k, definitely getting the lux pkg.

Adds up quick and course won't know exact details and options until the B&P are rolled out but I see the following in her Bronco:
-4dr Badlands
-2.7 & auto
-Lux package (if can get B&O system seperately, most likely would go that route)
-Sasquatch
-body-colored painted modular hardtop (hope to not have to select the dual-top option)
-leather seats (pending what B&P shows, may go aftermarket)
-tow package

Other add-ons:
-Warn winch
-Rear cargo shelf

I can add heated seats myself for about $300.
Pulling out the steering column is a whole different matter. :cautious:

Anyone concerned Ford might try to force leather seats with Lux? It could be why it feels like there is a large jump from High package for such few options.

wouldn't want to give up marine grade vinyl just to have the Lux package.

I would personally be THRILLED if that price jump included leather.
Otherwise I hope the B/O system is a stand alone option as well.

You should be able to swap the steering wheel for the version with heat and then code it with FORSCAN. It works on the F150 platform.

I reserved an FE but then three days later I reserved a badlands when I was worried about FORD over selling the FEs. And for a while I was thinking maybe I would just go with the Badlands until I started pricing everything out and I think the FE will wind up being cheaper even if I replace the horrid navy pier interior ?
