So it seems other than a few safety features i'm paying a lot of extra $$ for the B&O system a wireless charger and a garage door transmitter (which I cannot believe is not standard), pretty sure the bottom of the line Mitsubishi comes with transmitter these days?? Can you knowledgeable guys tell me what i'm missing?

Those safety features, and the sound system upgrades might be worth it to some. Even a techie id say I want the wireless charger too. Are things overpriced, sure but it won't stop me from getting what make me happy on a new 50k+ vehicle

Probably not...but I'm getting it anyway because I want Adaptive Cruise. Maybe the sound system is awesome and will prove to be worth it, not sure on that. The rest of the stuff are all nice to have, but not something I would normally pay a premium for. Universal garage door openers not included until this package is ridiculous, but it is what it is.

depending on where you live

heated steering wheel is a big deal

however imo

Evasive steering is a huge safety feature. could save your life if your eyes are not 100% on the road.
Yeah i live in San Antonio, id use heated steering maybe once a year if i remembered I had it.

Yeah totally skipped over the evasive steering part.... Would be nice considering that all these safety features were standard these days, but get that have to make $$

Worth it for me for the ACC, heated steering wheel, and upgraded stereo system
Yep, that's the ones I'm in for. Plus, if I'm all the up to the high package, I may as well go for broke. Or, just go broke. :)

Seriously. How can ALL the safety tech not be standard these days? I think it's the worst package, costs so much to get a couple things that should be built in.

These and the evasive steering safety feature are why it's definitely worth it for me. Plus there are a few other goodies in there.

Never had ACC before, but I would not see myself taking this on long road trips and never had an issue breaking before.... Now it was brought to my attention above that evasive steering is there too, that kind of safety feature considering ill be handing this down in 2-3 years to my daughter may be the sealing deal for Lux!

because unless the car is built for safety in mind (not the bronco) manufacturing scale helps

If this stuff came standard the base model would be like 35k+
