What do you mean? You can keep the back open and still close the tailgate, but you can’t lift the enclosure without opening the tailgate.

That was exactly what I was trying to get at. Just wanted to make sure you couldn't lift the enclosure without opening the tailgate. Wanted to keep my golf clubs from getting easily swiped while getting grub post round.

Looks, operates and functions as it should. I even installed mine with BuiltRight Cargo Molle Panels.

isn't there a big gap when the rear door is closed and the top is off??? Looks like an 8"+ gap........... Pic with the door closed and back window open???

was really just looking for it for some light security, after a golf round when I leave my clubs in the back. Wanted to be able to close the tailgate and not be able to open up the cover and see inside.

If you remove the roof it can be opened so it doesn't provide theft protection

Here is my review and installation overview of the Mabett cargo cover.

This is my second one. First one went with my first Bronco. LOL. On the second Bronco I tried the Tuffy Security Enclosure, but gave up on it. This is a better solution.
