I’m having some trouble with my wireless charging pad (purchased through Amazon) after roughly a month of it working perfectly.

First I noticed the charging pad registering my phone was charging on the CarPlay screen, but the phone was keeping the same battery % for over an hour, and the phone and pad were unusually hot.

The next day, the wireless charging pad, AND both usb outlets were fully unresponsive.

Fast forward to today, and now the USB chargers intermittently work, but the wireless charging pad is flashing blue and red while not giving off a charge.

I’ve read that the red & blue flashing is a known problem… has there been a fix announced for this?

It can be solved. I have found the reason. The good news is that not every wireless charging board will have a problem. So far, it is a small probability event. Anyone who encounters this problem can pm me, and I will send you a new set.

I got mine back in late November but just installed it today. Hopefully I don't have this problem. It works fine initially.

Did anyone establish is this upgrade to the OEM pad in the lux, or just something for people without the option?

I ordered/received the charging pad last week. After a relatively easy install (the screws on the shifter take some patience, and I found that shifting in/out of neutral helped with removing the console from around the shifter), I started the truck only to find blinking lights on the pad that some users have reported, and it wouldn’t charge.

I ordered a replacement on amazon and received that yesterday. This one had a different male end on the harness, and while it didn’t quite snap into place (I put some electrical tape around it to make sure it stayed put), the connection seemed secure and the charging pad got power.

After reassembling the console, the pad seems to be working well. I use a Quadlock case on my iPhone pro max, which is pretty thick, and I have to remove the rubber insert in the charging pad tray in order for the charger to recognize the phone (it works perfectly without the case on), as the rubber is too thick along with the case size. I suspect if I were to cut out the inside edge of the rubber, but keep the outer edge, it would still hold the phone in place and probably charge with the case on. I may give it a try this week. The only downside to cutting this is that non “max” iPhones may move around a bit on the charging pad.
