Easy install? Worked in both positions on your 2 door?
I bought the 2 pack of those lights and installed them in both positions in my 2 door. Works great and much much brighter than stock. If I were installing only one I'd probably install in the roof position for a greater flood of light. The side position is almost too blinding.

They are pretty bright,a lot better than stock.
I just installed one for cargo area
It doesn’t seem to turn on/off when the door gets opened and closed. Any reason for this behavior?
I can turn on and off by a button but that is not the behavior I want. I want it to behave same as the original.

The one I done in the cargo area, I took it out and put it back in a few times. Then it worked perfectly.

Now it lights on and off automatically when you open and close the doors?

when I lock the car it still lights up.
unfortunately when disassembling the original one the clips got bent slightly so now it won’t sit tightly either. So I’m stuck with it.
overall it does produces more light. But I miss it being able to identify door open/closed..

PM me, I can send you a new set. After installation, you need to lock and unlock the car for it to synchronize.

It’s now July and the 2-door version still seems to be unavailable
