Hi all!
I just finished installing this. Took about an hour. I realized the instructions Mabett uses is for the Bronco with a stock metal rear bumper. Mine is a plastic bumper, regardless I was able to do it fairly easy. Looks great as well! I watched a video on YouTube to see how to remove the plastic one. Looks great and feels sturdy. I do recommend everyone installs this!

Why not sell this as a kit with the wiring? It’s really not useable without the wire.

This looks awesome and definitely prefer it over the curt hitch. Just ordered along with the curt wiring harness! Will post pics of it installed in a few days 😊

Yes it is? No idea why you said this. You dont need wiring harness for every use of a hitch. You can easily add that after. Bike Rack? Shackle for pulling yourself out? Need a 4 pin or 7 pin for that? Most hitches are sold without wiring harness

I just received it. Will it work with a 2" ball hitch, clearance wise?

I'm not sure what you're asking.
A 2" receiver will work but each trailer has a different requirement for clearance (length of receiver) and height (rise/drop of receiver).

I basically want to know if someone has installed a 2" ball with this hitch to pull a trailer and if they had any issues.
I have a slight drop hitch receiver for my Wrangler and it pulls my boat fine.
I just received the hitch but don't have the Bronco yet so want to have some real life experiences before my return window closes.

If you put the captive nuts on the rear side of the hitch and install the bolts from the muffler side, you would not have to remove the bumper for install. Huge missed opportunity, you will double or triple your sales if you change it. 10-15 min. Install time. One person👍

Exactly. It’s not a “trailer hitch” without wiring. And anything bigger than Class 1 is overkill for a bike rack.
