Alright. I pulled the trigger. Looking forward to tune + 2 ft of snow. Haha.

How would an upgraded intercooler tie into this?

Sorry just saw this. Everything that increases flow will help. But the big things on a turbo motor are going to be catless downpipe and tune. In my experience with turbo 4 cylinders, that's going to net you like 90% of any performance you'll get without doing motor apart work. Plus, much more than that, you'll start needing to look at new clutches.

This exhaust is mostly for a nice deep tone, but it also nets you a few inches of departure angle on the rear. Which sounds like nothing, but it does help when trying to clear rocks or other obstacles

Magnaflow borrowed my 2-door last week to fit up the 2-door and 2.3L version of their Overlander series exhaust. I really like the sound. Still mellow but with a bit more ass to it than before. It actually sounds like an internal combustion engine now, not a sewing machine. It has a nice mellow tone that opens up a bit when you get into the throttle. I mostly like how it tucks up under there. Quite a bit more compact than the big ass stock muffler. The kit came with a cap to block off the anti-drone can if you want it to run louder. I may test it out and do a sound comparison video at some point.

This is similar to the kit some of you already saw on the Camburg 4-door, but fit for the 2-door and 2.3L application. They said these should be going up on their website very soon, possibly by this week sometime, if anyone is interested.

I’ll see what I can do. I don’t have means to record exterior video while driving. But, I plan on dialing in which setting I like best along with the Panda Tune.

I’m curious about the new K&N intake. Everyone seems to think the stock intake is plenty efficient. Wonder if it has the water flap?

It's really hard to tell the difference on camera. For whatever reason it doesn't come through well. I've been lagging on going out to do more videos with different configurations on mine.

I concur. I have yet to try the pipe cap in either configuration - but, I will. #3 added a perfect cabin drone and sounds great at 3k rpm. I was worried the 2.3L would sound like a Honda - but, it doesn’t. Very pleased. I don’t know if it’s placebo - but, it feels less restricted at the pedal too. I’ll be adding the Whipple filter on Wednesday. I’ll report back.
