I'm heading to Capital Ford in Raleigh this evening with my wife to hopefully test drive their 7spd 4dr badlands. Does anyone have any specific requests or things for me to pay attention to?
I know there's been a ton of pics/writeups so far but I'd be happy to get some more niche photos if anyone is still wanting.

For those of us that have ordered and would like to test drive the manual Broncos, our options may be slim. I was lucky enough that the dealer down the street from me got a manual mannequin Bronco and I was able to drive it, but not all might be so fortunate. I thought that it'd be helpful to everyone if they knew where to find a manual Bronco to test drive.
***THIS IS A WIKI, EDIT THIS POST TO ADD LOCATIONS WITH MANUAL MANNEQUINS***
Please list dealer, location, number of doors, and trim to keep things simple. Please refrain from adding unless you have seen it in person.

Just went to see this one, I had to literally hop into it. Wow, CO had a really nice sparkle to it. The leather interior felt really good, the CO accents weren't as prominent as in pictures, and the 12" screen looked huge. The 33" tires were perfect, so glad I went with the BL trim as compared to the stock OBX and BB I saw when they came through visiting the area. This dealer will be getting a WT SAS in a few weeks too.Crossroads Apex NC has a manual 4Dr badlands high package in CO. Leather seats and optional wheels. They’re not scheduling test drives yet, but will soon.
@Thed
Yeah - I am one happy camper after seeing this one. Still need to see a two door in person, but the CO color, and the Badlands stature have me savoring for a build date. Order choices confirmed!!!Just went to see this one, I had to literally hop into it. Wow, CO had a really nice sparkle to it. 1: The clutch felt a little soft / friction point felt almost 'squishy' (compared to my Mustang GT atleast). The point in which it started to bite felt similar to the Mustang, if not slightly further from the floor.1. At what point does clutch bite on the release back after full stomp.
2. if you stall, and then press clutch, does the engine start or you have to push the button
3. How well does cruise control work. Like does it keep going in 4th gear if you reduce the speed to 30 using the steering button
4. Can you chirp the tires in 2nd gear
Thanks for keeping my requests in mind1: The clutch felt a little soft / friction point felt almost 'squishy' (compared to my Mustang GT atleast). The point in which it started to bite felt similar to the Mustang, if not slightly further from the floor.
2: The test drive was painfully short. I didn't stall or get a chance to test this. I asked the salesman but he was all but useless for bronco information and didn't know.
3: Same as point 2, unfortunately. He only let us go down two stop lights and pull a u-turn.. I didn't get to test this either.
4: Coming out of the Uey at the stop light I floored it (much to my salesman's dismay ). The turbo wasn't spooled up enough when I was in 1st to chirp any tires, but I'm fairly confident that I shifted into 2nd well enough, but no chirp, no traction lights, etc. This may not be possible without really abusing her.
Damn, I got a nice ten-minute drive or so and got to go on the highway back on Monday.Let this post serve as a warning for anyone looking to travel a great distance to Capital Ford
The "test drive" they offer here is barely that. You're allowed to leave the lot, turn right on to Capital Blvd. and drive literally 2 stop lights forward (maybe a quarter mile). At that point they ask you to take a u-turn and drive back to the lot. From start to finish was maybe 5 minutes, and that included sitting at 2 red lights.
Damn. I guess it was just the particular salesman that took me out, then.Damn, I got a nice ten-minute drive or so and got to go on the highway back on Monday.
I did the autotrader thing mentioned on the first page. They don't all list transmission though. How are people finding this info? Also is there a thread for dealers that have demo units in general? Shame I’m not in CO that unit is real close to my build.
Might bring a $50 or so to bribe the salesman for an...”extended” drive when I go on Friday. I’m not gonna be satisfied with a 2 stoplight test drive considering I’m driving 2 hours each way to check this Bronco outDamn, I got a nice ten-minute drive or so and got to go on the highway back on Monday.
