Some would still prefer the 4th option of not squatching at all

A small minority might like a 5th option of squatching aftermarket still ??‍♂

And who knows, maybe a 6th option of "I have no effing idea what to do now, Ford just made this even tougher to decide ?"

Who's going with the Automatic and Sasquatch?

Where's the 2.7 with manual option? (/s, j/k,)

My honest answer is that I'd love a manual for fun/ to teach my kids with BUT:
  • I'm not sure how I feel about wheeling and burning up a clutch as I'd be very new to this.
  • I really want as much automated cruise functionality as I can get, and a stick may limit that.

Idk... if there was a way to get the 35’s without squatching but adding a dealer added lift kit I’d go that route. Now I gotta start planning again.

Let's get really crazy. How about the 2.7 mansquatch for option 7? ?

I do wonder, how many that are gonna go with the 2.3 to get the manual would instead get a 2.7 if it was available with the manual?

This poll would truly be more interesting if it showed these categories to give a better sense of how many will 'squatch at all.

I would venture to guess out of the ~5% of us that are going manual, ~2% would go 2.7L if possible. I know I would definitely go 2.7 manual if they offered it

2.7 Sq”AUTO”tch because I want the dual injection to potentially limit carbon build up.
I’m also concerned about the 2.3 being in boost all the time rocking and rolling those 35s.

Same here. I really want the manual but I'm just not entirely comfortable when I think about that little 2.3l 4cyl with 35's. Eventually I'd really like to go 37's and that makes me feel even more trepidatious. I'd feel much more comfortable with the 2.7. If only I could get it with the manual, I wouldn't hesitate.

Would it help your irrationality if they called it a 351W V8? Seriously, more HP than when the 351W was in the Ford Lightning and nearly as much TQ which a tune would overcome.

I think the 2.7 on a 2-door is gonna surprise the hell out of a lot of people and create some pucker factor even while turning 35s.

Cylinder counters crack me up. This "little 2.3" makes more power and torque then a lot of V8s did. Ford detuned this for the Bronco so users can fill up with 87 octane. Install the 93 Octane tune and this little 4 Cylinder makes 325hp and 375tq. Since when is that not enough to spin 35s???

I think it’s awesome Ford is giving us all the options we want. Mostly .
But I still prefer the bigger motor, if the mansquatch was offered with the 2.7 id be all over it...
I want the bigger motor, not a knock on the 2.3, just think longevity the bigger motor will hold its value better.

Another thing for me, it’s says it’s late availability which for me makes the wait time for the bronco too long, I don’t wanna add time to the build time for me

I want the safety features for my daily driver, so Auto for sure. Since I'm in an auto already, may as well go for the more powerful engine.
