Should Ford put the manual transmission on the 6 cylinder engine?

Chevy chose not to offer a MT in the 2023 Z06. May be a sign of things to come moving forward. I hope not.

Might as well go big and just ask for the 3.5 Ecoboost with a Tremec 6060.

Ya...would think the iteration designed for the track would've included a MT.
Why? Their goal is the fastest time with a track car. A DCT can shift considerably faster than anyone with a stick can.

Nick....you're making my point buddy. The thread is a question around manual transmissions and their existence. Not how well someone drives one.

My point was if the most iconic sports car in the country's history doesn't have one....it may be a sign of things to come. That's all.

The December issue of M T article for the Bronco listed as a Con: "No manual transmission for the big engine". On behalf of bronco6g and manual drivers everywhere, I will repeat the plea given by M T: "Ford, pair the manual with the V-6, please!"

Hands down...I would have opted for the 7sp with the 2.7...not even a second thought had it been offered

Maybe they will offer the manual in the 6.7L. Thats what we need. Im not used to buying gasoline!
If they made it, I would buy it!

Seriously though, my main reason for buying the Bronco is I want a manual to drive (that I fit in - I'm 6'5"). The Bronco is good for me...both headroom and legroom. I have sat in many manuals over the last 10 years trying to find a vehicle that I fit in and is fun to drive.

I think you will fit. I'm 6-1 and cant reach the clutch with the seat all the way back. They did a good job with the design.
