I’m either smarter than the person(s) who wrote the bronco manual or a complete idiot. Is this another “Ford took the Bronco SPORT manual and tweaked it for the full-size Bronco” and its incorrect (i.e. fuse box location listed is for the Sport)?

Where in the h-e-double hockeysticks is this so-called “Heated Mirrors button” they say to turn off? I know the heated mirrors come on with the rear defrost, and maybe the max defrost button but for the life of me, I do not see this so-called heated mirrors button!

Is it a different button on soft tops that aren't prepped for hardtop conversion?

That said, Ford does occasionally share sections between models. My Flex's manual includes how to operate a number of features (if equipped) that were *never* available such as lanekeeping or kick-open tailgate.

I was wondering the same. I think the manual is wrong - I can’t find that button either.

Manuals are written by tech writers and are typically reviewed and approved by engineers. Cut and paste is used frequently. After several iterations, we just say “shite”, looks good to me!

You wouldn’t believe how much of the manual was copy pasted from F150, which the Bronco has nothing in common with. This is just one example. Go looking for the sport mode button in the manual, I’ll wait 😂

You mean the Ford Owners manual that Ford decided to just upload into the Navigation screen instead of spending $3.78 to give customers a printed copy?

It's only 6 below outside, let me run out and look at my owners manual.
Don't the heated mirrors come on and go off automatically by a thermostat?

I was curious.
Owners Manual shows several ways that heated mirror can be turned.
One way is that little heated mirror button!!
Pages 115-118.

If there is no separate button I bet they come on either with the defrost or rear defrost. Go turn it on and watch. That will tell you.

My last printed manual confused me so much I went thru and removed pages or drew a line thru the page or wrote not this vehicle. It is a stick shift, ordered without a radio but they stuck a base unit in anyway, no power anything ( windows, seats, seat heaters, locks, remotes). So there were pages and pages that did not apply.

I like a printed manual. I then add some info . Size of filters in various brands, liquids type and amounts, write out how to reset that dam change oil light that I cannot ever remember.

The way that I read this, without seeing the rest of the manual, is that this section and everything in it is for Broncos with Auto Temp Control. Therefore, if you don't have auto temp control, then you don't have heated mirrors. Is there another section for Climate Control - Vehicles without Automatic Temperature Control?

You received the whole 548 page owners manual or just the Supplement?

If so, I am going to track one down.

Mine came with the “basic”version. I bought a full one from Helm for $40 or so. I always like having a paper copy.

Ford Bronco Manual Wrong? Heated Mirrors 422494FF-AE38-4F6A-BAAD-F5539254D4C2

Softop with no hardtop prep kit. I'm assuming by the location they turn on with the rear defrost when equipped
