With all the “Bad Batch” Broncos held at the plant, is it possible that many, most, or all have already received a passing top and passed the overall QC check but are just stuck there because of transportation shortages?

anything is possible, but i seriously doubt the order backlog will be addressed by the units parked in the lot awaiting transportation... and if mine is in the lot, all the speculation in the world won't get it here any faster....

We have been having issues getting construction materials (in MD) due to no drivers available to drive the trucks. I think your theory is very realistic.........

I’m not concerned about “lot rot”.. I’m concerned that Ford has a huge inability to produce a quality product. Many a bronco sitting in QC... for what? My soft top build now has a bad soft top...maybe the steering wheel leather didn’t pass final inspection.
Maybe the glove box was scraped with its inability to hold a pineapple properly...

Lot rot has gotten so bad they're being scrapped
Many cars sit on dealer lots for a year before purchase. Believe it or not, cars are meant to be outdoors

Nope.

According to this site if a Bronco is parked outside for more than 15 minutes it has rotted out and must be scrapped. If it’s raining then that is cut to 7 3/4 minutes. If the sun is out you can maybe stretch it out to 20 or 25 minutes. But not if is near noon. Then you’re down to 3 1/8 minutes.

Now you know.

I thought it was already proven the top self destructs in direct sunlight .... kind of like a vampire I suppose.
Now there's a path to go down for naming your rig.
I call dibs on Lestat.
