Hoping someone might have the measurements of the max droop and compression on the front and rear without the coilovers or swaybars connected. I have a differential drop lift kit on my bronco Sasquatch and I’m trying to see how much more travel I have over a factory. I’m looking to order custom length king coilovers so I can get rid of the spacers that the kit places on top of the stock bilsteins.

Thanks in advance. I tried doing some internet research but I haven’t had any luck.

Max droop, as measured by accutune, for the onset of CV axle binding during wheel rotation for OEM SAS was 24.3”. Max allowable CV angle from ford shop manual is 18 degrees. This doesn’t necessarily mean CV binding just a Ford limit with likely some safety factor.

Attached are some calculations showing the effects of shock length wrt IFS geometry. Reasonable estimates anyway.

Thanks for sharing, it is worth noting for anyone else looking at this, that this is for the M210 front diff, which allows more angle than the M190.

Thanks for the sharing that info, since I originally posted this I have come to find out the info I really need is for the rear. When I went to measure my full droop I ended up with two different measurements because of the track bar. On the drivers side I got 33-1/4” and on the passenger I got 29-3/8”. I will eventually run limiting straps so the coil overs are not limiting my wheel travel but King shocks wasn’t able to tell me what length rear shocks I should run. So that’s why I was hoping to find out what the stock Sasquatch numbers were compared to mine so I could see what the difference was.

Here are some shock length numbers compiled mostly by @Merc4x4. You need to be careful with numbers such as these and make sure they were measured from same reference points. Mounting surface to mounting surface, and usually bolt CL for a mounting eye.
