Looks great! Would be hard to figure out your trim if you didn't have the badges.

Ford missed some cues on the Black Diamond trim colors IMO. This should've been the blacked out trim vs. Wildtrak wheels/badging and Base grille letters.

It's been an easy remedy so far with beauty rings, badges, de-badging etc. so also ending up with a Frankenrig. I still need to black out my grille letters. Glad I didn't have to swap seats, that's some serious commitment!

I'm almost planning the opposite build, I have a BB with the cloth seats but I want to get the Armorlite rubberized floor as well as BD steelies with 33"s, BD grill, and some rock sliders. But first I need to install some door insert pockets.

I wish I had the option to get BD from the start, but I have grown to prefer the cloth seats over the MGV in the one I test drove.

As we are all experiencing, the availability of OEM and aftermarket coupled with the modularity of this platform are incredible! Mostly a blessing, and a little bit of a curse (for the wallet!).

Well, this has been a long time coming, but I wanted to everyone to meet Frankenstein, otherwise known as Frank (naming will be apparent by the end).

Frank was adopted from Stephen’s Auto Center in Danville, WV on April 27, 2023 after waiting since I placed my reservation in July of 2020.

I have lurked on the forum collecting advice and details for a long time, but I would like to share my journey.

2023 Badlands 2.7 Non-Sasquatch in Velocity Blue

I never liked how Ford would not let you pick interior accent colors so I met a fellow Bronco addict at Stephen’s on the day of pickup (from Jersey) and we swapped his entire Black Diamond seats and grab handles into my rig before I ever even pulled off the lot.

Mods:

Zone Offroad leveling kit (installed by Stephens)

Sasquatch wheels

Mabett molle door baskets

Bad Bronco Tailgate Emblem (RIP)

StickerFab: Ford Emblem, tail light tint, blue Bronco letters (interior)

Rock Blokz Mudflaps

Bartact Blue Grab handles

Gearshade Blue Mesh Bimini Top (not shown)

Black Beauty Beadlock Trim Rings (Wildtrak)

Stainless Beadlock Bolts (https://www.mcmaster.com/#90991A211)

Bronco Fender Badge (OutlawStudio405)https://www.etsy.com/listing/1625154137/

Swapped for Base grille (like the heritage look)

Ford Accessory Tufskinz Velocity Blue Grille Letters

Custom Painted to Match Velocity Blue D Shackles

Mabett rear seat backs

Mountains2Metal removable steps

As you can see this Bronco identifies with 3 different trim levels, hence the name. Ford didn’t sell the Bronco like I wanted, so I resorted to my own methods.

Thanks for reading! I look forward to sharing more mods!

Great looking build. When you repaced the beadlock trim screws with stainless steel. With a direct replacement, any torque specs or thread lock needed?

Anti-Seize!

ford does have a torque spec. I am not sure of the exact number so I just used my best judgement.
