I have been looking for a mesh top for when I take the hard top off. I don't want to drill anything and I have seen them anywhere from $199 and up! For some reason some of the 4 dr ones are cheaper. I did look at the besttop one on Amazon and the reviews were bad. What is everyone using on here?
I am using the Spiderwebshade and really like it. Super easy to install, but you will need to remove it to put your hardtop back on. But it literally takes five minutes to install.

I saw a post today for someone selling a 2 door OEM/Bestop for like $150. Maybe that would suit your fancy?

THe reviews I saw ion the Bestop were horrible. I had one of their soft tops on my Jeep and wasn't bad but that was a long time ago.

I run this on my 2 door. It’s solid, I have no complaints. Doesn’t flap in the wind. I guess I don’t see the necessity of spending $300 on one like the JTops, but to each their own. Not like it’s for anything other than to provide shade.

Good price but what's with all the tie down straps - seems excessive just to hold some mesh in place.

Comparable amount of straps to ones that cost 3x as much, and as you said it’s mesh, it’ll flap in the wind otherwise. You absolutely want it as taut as can be.

With the J top, do you fold back the front section when you put the hard top back on while leaving the shade top installed? I see the zipper openings for the back of the front panel latches, but it appears the J top uses the latch points the front of the front panels use to latch down. Thanks

I saw a video on it somewhere, and yes, you fold the front back. Kind of right where the hard plastic and mesh meet. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong

The previous members post is correct.
Please watch the video on our Bronco website.

Broncosunshades.com

It shows a hard top but the soft top works the same way.
If we can be of further assistance please let us know.
