I'm not even really sure how I did this but I messed up my clearcoat pretty good in a couple spots. In the main spot (shown in photos) I was trying to get some sap off my hood with some goo gone and a sponge. The sponge I was using must have been too abrasive as you can see the 'cloudy' looking blob that was left before I realized what I had done. Anyone have any good suggestions on fixing/correcting this? Really hoping there is a product that can be used to restore it the clearcoat? Doesn't seem to actually be scratched down to the paint which is why I'm thinking it's just clearcoat damage...
